Customer Review: DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK
Summary: 1 Stars

This was a COMPLETELY worthless product. I bought it to slice limes for a party...they might as well call in a juicer. It just smashed the limes. I even tried cutting the ends off my limes, thinking that it might be too hard of an edge....it didn't help. It just isn't sharp enough. Don't waste your money.

Customer Review: Great product

Great product, big help in the kitchen. I gave these out to friends
and family.

Customer Review: Makes prep easy!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this little gadget for making roasted potato wedges. It is so fast and easy. The packaging also shows it to be useful for making wedges of tomatoes and lemons, which I have not tried yet but have full confidence this contraption easily handle it. It has a small, petite design so it does not take up a lot of space either.

Customer Review: Would be a great tool if it were sharp...
Summary: 3 Stars

I wedged a lemon, with the stem side down just like the instruction booklet advises. After some wiggling and a lot of pushing, the slicer did go down through the lemon but left very ragged edges on the skin and also shredded the insides. If you're planning on using your lemon wedges for something decorative, well, they're pretty ugly. Then I tried to wedge a tomato, with the stem side up just like the instruction booklet said. Let me just say I had to go change my shirt after that. It did not cut through the skin, and since the booklet says to do tomatoes very quickly, all that happened was that the cutter squashed the tomato and the side of it blew out from the pressure and I ended up wearing it. I suspect a potato will work better being that there are no soft pieces to get obliverated, but I haven't tried one yet. If the potato works, it will keep me from throwing this thing in the trash because it's otherwise useless. Plus if you have to fight with it, and then clean the whole thing and then store it, it's really easier to just simply use a knife. Sorry to be a Debbie-Downer but this item is a big disappointment. ***UPDATE*** I just changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, because I've been pleased to find that this thing cuts through potatoes just fine. So I will keep it for potato slicing, but as far as the lemons and tomatoes go, I'll stick to a sharp knife.
