This is a wonderful nut chopper. It looks very good on the kitchen shelf.

this nut chopper has 2 degrees of chopping, course & fine. I like being able to choose, and not having my walnuts, pecans, etc, pulverized to powder like some nut choppers do - and the price was great, I have seen the same chopper elsewhere for twice as much.

Others have reported problems but mine is working fine and has not broken with use. I even put it into the dishwasher.

I've had many other hand-operated choppers but they pulverized the nuts. This one actually chops them into an ideal size for cookies and brownies.

I like the fact that there is a cover, which prevents the nuts from flying out during the chopping process and the markings for measurements are very handy, too.

I bought this thing out of a catalog from my daughters school, around Christmas time. I was thrilled when I received it as I make Red Velvet Cakes as extra income. To say the least, one of the teeth or grinders actually broke off into the cake batter and baked in the cake. When the cake was served, one of my customers bit on the medal piece. She brought it to me furious. I compared it to the nut chopper and saw that one of the teeth were actually broke. Now, the customer has filed a lawsuit against me, and I am in turn, filing a lawsuit against the manufacturer. So say the least, business has not been the same.
