Great value and it even comes with a clear locking storage box. The difference slicer attachments store under the mandoline but the problem is that you can only store one under there when one is set in on top. So since there are 3 attachements one of them doesn't get to lock-in.Customer Review: Great for potatoes!

This thing is great! Very sharp as others have stated - I was able to cut a very large and thick potato for fries without having to pre-cook at all. The handle thing is only useful for certain shapes of foods (or if you pre-cut in chunks to get that shape), so defintely be careful of fingers! The storage box is a WONDERFUL bonus for an item that comes with additional parts. I'd definitely recommend this - a great deal!Customer Review: Great price, awesome unit, even better than expected!

The low price made me hesitant - I was concerned it wouldn't be well made - but I couldn't be happier with this unit. It is perfectly sized, extremely sharp (as it should be), quick & easy to change slicing options, very easy to clean and stores compactly & conveniently in it's own clear storage box - not that it will spend much time there. I keep finding new uses for it and regret not owning one sooner.
A word on sharpness: True to a previous reviewer's comments, it felt like it wasn't slicing because of how effortlessly it works. Also, it takes a while to become familiar and comfortable using the veggie holder / hand protector but take the time to do so, it's worth it.
Great price, awesome unit, even better than expected! You won't be disappointed, unless, of course, you want a dull slicer.

I was a little hesitant about ordering this but love it now that I have used it! Very good value for the money. Easy to use and the results have been good so far with everything I have used it for. Make sure you position the "holder" correctly so you do not slice the plastic off the holder!! Dumb bunny that I am! Works great if you just follow the instructions. VERY Quickly shreds anything you give it. Great slicer also! As always Amazon service was GREAT! I am always amazed at the shipping speed of this company! I got this for xmas and it has outperformed any mandoline I've owned in the past. It's sharp, has easily interchangeable blades and has grooves on the bottom to help secure it on the edge of a bowl for convenient slicing right into your work vessel. The hand guard is just like many other, awkward and useless but most are. I purchased cut-proof gloves ($12 on Amazon) to use instead and I'm like a Samurai fool. Again, great and easy to use.
