Customer Review: breaks SO easily

One wire broke the day I got this, but it was the halver, so I figured, no big deal. I have used this item probably 10 times. Today, two more wires broke. I know someone was saying that it's not a piece of junk, and the design is great, but those little wires just break too easily. I would say if 1/3 of the people reviewing a product say it broke, then it's a piece of junk. I also agree that it gets hard to clean in the yellow part. The egg yolk in particular gets mashed when you cube eggs and then it is hard to get out.
It's sad, because I loved my slicer, and I have chickens to give me plenty of fresh eggs. But, I am just going to use the two functions that still work (slice one way and eighth) until THEY inevitably break and then I will throw it in the trash and not buy another one. Too bad, the cubed eggs looked so fancy in egg salad.

The only egg slicer you will ever need, just note, if you use the dicer section, cut the egg in thirds length-wise before so the cuts are tiny cubes
