These basins are relatively small, but they're big enough to accommodate a sponge mop head, two feet, or any small item that needs soaking. I have now happily jettisoned my two plastic pails and my traditional plastic dishpan, which took up half of the space under the sink in my small apartment kitchen.
Elderly people and others who have very little upper body strength may find them rather difficult to use.
