Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Progressive International Citrus JuicerCustomer Review: Great product! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this juicer! It works really well, and I really like that you can pour your juice into the round cup (shown on top of the juicer in the picture) and that round cup has measurements for you. It's simple, it works, and best of all--it's cheap! I highly recommend it!
Customer Review: Handy little juicer. Summary: 5 Stars
This little juicer is easier to use than the electric ones. You can also measure the amount of juice in the handy measurement markers on the cup. If you want to have freshly squeezed juice while traveling, having a picnic in the park, or attending sporting events, you can take this along and squeeze your citrus fruits quickly.
Customer Review: I was expecting more Summary: 3 Stars
This juicer is functional, however, from the description, I was expecting a few features that it does not have. I thought the juicing part would fit on either size bowl, but this is not the case. The larger bowl is simply a bowl. It does not fit under the juicer, nor does it have a non stick bottom. The juicer works well for a once in a while, small job, but would not be practical for juicing a lot at a time.
Customer Review: Juicer has some good features, some not-so-good Summary: 3 Stars
- This juicer is inexpensive, doesn't take up much space in the cupboard, is very easy to clean, and it does its job fairly competently. The vertical ridges on this juicer are a little sharper than on many others, and this speeds up the process of getting at the whole of the pulp and juice. There's a ring of silicone-like rubber on the bottom, and this keeps it from sliding around on the counter while you're doing the juicing. This is important-- you have to use this on a level surface, because the spouted reservoir is so small, and if you tip it while you're juicing, some juice spills out of the spout. The base snaps securely to the ridged juicer-part, and this helps. But the top-cover can't be used as the reservoir, and this is the main shortcoming of this item.
- I'm not thrilled with the design of this juicer, but I'm not going to return it, either. It's significantly better than the one I bought at the supermarket.
Customer Review: Low-cost Citrus Juicer Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for a lemon and lime juicer, something easy to use and cheap. This item fits the bill wonderfully.
It's three pieces. The bottom cup has a little spout on it. It also has a non-skid ring on the bottom to help prevent splippage. The top and bottom cups are graduated with Tbls, ml, and Cups measurements. All three pieces fit very well together and disassemble easily. Also, the manufacturer states that this is dishwasher safe, though I hand-wash mine.
My mother in law has already made lots and lots of bottles of her "healthy" style lemonade with this contraption. When you're done, it fits easily into a tall drawer/cubbard.
It is made entirely out of plastic, so we'll see how long this thing lasts, though I personally only plan to use it infrequently.
All in all, I feel like I got a really good value at ~$5, especially compared to all these other more expensive juicers that may or may not juice all that well.
