Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Progressive International Acrylic Soap DispenserCustomer Review: I've been searching for this for sooo long!! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had one of these for years and loved it. Then, it got knocked down and cracked. It started leaking but I just couldn't give it up! I looked in many stores to find a replacement to no avail. There were no other dispensers with the long arm to squirt the dishwashing soap into the sink without having to pick up the dispenser! When I finally decided to look online, Eureka! I found it! I could hardly wait for it to arrive! I'm so happy to finally have a new one. I hope it lasts for ten+ years like the last one! It's my indispensable dispenser!!
Customer Review: Incredibly Satisfying - Not Any More Summary: 1 Stars
Update to my earlier ecstatic review of a few months ago. After a couple of months the pump developed a severe case of pump friction. Hard to push down and never came back up. I tried my best silicone and teflon lubricant sprays on it with no result. What a disappointment. I noticed that most of the good reviews go back a ways, and many recent reviews show the same experience I had. Finally, I started putting my dish soap in a used Method hand soap dispenser, holds a bit less, but still looks pretty good at the sink. Cost = free. Results to date = excellent.
First and foremost - if you think it's blue, you should know that it's not. It's crystal clear and so takes on the color. With orange colored dish soap it's a beautiful orange shade. With a green soap - well, you get the idea.
It's an odd shape, kinda stubby, but I find I really like it after a few days of use. The shape and rubbery ring on the base make it rock solid stable. The very high quality pump dispenses as little as a drop or two, and as much as a tablespoon with a single push. And, there is no drip - none. I don't know how they do that, but I love it. Except for the stainless steel spout, it's all very solid looking mix of clear and black plastic.
I was thoroughly fed up with the cheesy pumps that so many mass merchandisers now sell, so I took a chance on this chubby little guy. I'm really glad that I did.
Customer Review: It's working well. Summary: 5 Stars
I have had a couple for 6 months and I'm buying 2 more. I wish it were a little smaller, but I love the long spout. No drips, no oxidizing in the soap from a metal spout, very steady and solid.
Customer Review: Just what I wanted Summary: 4 Stars
This product is great because it holds a decent amount of soap, has a long nozzle, is very understated, small enough base to fit on my kitchen sink, and a rubber ring at the bottom to keep it from sliding. I wanted something that just blended in with the sink, and that is what this dispenser does. My only complaint is that it leaks at the end of nozzle sometimes if the top is not up all the way. I guess it has the tendency not to pop back up all the way. It's not a fast leak, and it leaks into the sink, and it's easily fixable if I remember to check the top's position. Overall, a great product at a super price!

Haven't used it yet, but the dispenser is beautiful and appears to be solid and durable. Can't wait to use it.
