I purchased this colander about a year ago and was pleased at how little storage space it required. Pasta drains well and it is fairly easy to clean - without a dishwasher. I liked that I could rest the colander over the sink - it's stable and water drains freely. It's one flaw is that within several months of use one of the plastic extenders broke at the exact point where it joins to the handle. I attempted to glue it, but even gorilla glue wouldn't hold it. Just a few things to keep in mind when using this colander - use extreme care when extending the handles and collapsing it flat as both these actions put pressure on the handles, push the extenders in and grab the handles to shake the excess water.
