I've purchased several of these bowls. I bought my first three larger bowls years ago and have used them extensively. I have a set of small bowls with covers, and graduated sizes of the larger bowls. I have two of the largest size bowl. I have given these as gifts to friends and relatives and everyone has loved them. They are so handy and take up much less space in the cupboard. They can even go into the dishwasher collapsed and come out clean. (I have to put them into the drainer to dry.)
Cream whips extra fast in these bowls. Potatoes are easier to whip in these bowls, too. They are good for mixing batters or other baking, because things don't stick to the sides.
The other huge selling point for me is that they are red. :)
Some of them are harder to open and close and it takes a while for them to loosen up a bit. I haven't had any experiences that made it too difficult to use the bowl, though.
