I ordered this last year just before Christmas and found it very useful during the holiday season. Making salads was a lot easier and more fun. The blades were sharp, haven't had any issued with it.
Cleaning by hand may be a little difficult without a little brush but it can also be done in a dishwasher, just don't let the food dry on the blades.
