This great design has a very small footprint, yet is large enough to hold 3 or 4 wooden spoons/spatulas/ladles/etc. The removeable porcelain bowl makes cleanup a breeze.
Description of Porcelain and Chrome Large Ladle Cradle
Keep that stirring spoon handy while you cook without getting sauce all over your cutting board or stovetop. Simply set it in the bowl (which will catch all the drips) and the stand keeps it upright, taking up less room than a spoon rest. This is also very convenient if you are serving soup or stew from a tureen and don't know where to put the ladle after all have been served.Progressive's ladle cradle holds everything from soup ladles to spaghetti sauce spoons, offering your utensils a clean place to rest between stirs--keeping your workspace sparkling so there is less cleanup when the dish is done. The cradle's wire rack has two bars across its lower half to help keep spoons steady, and the bar spanning the top of the rack has indentations to support the handles of three utensils. At its base, the rack contains a white porcelain bowl (included) that supports the utensils and catches any stray food drippings. The bowl also serves as a weight to balance the ladle cradle, so we recommend that you always use both pieces together.
