I have only used this to slice mushrooms so far and I love it. The slices are uniform in size which is great. It is also easy to clean. The container is nice and deep, but it could be little bigger. My girlfriend and I thought we would have fresh sliced strawberries for dessert. She took out her new slicer to use for the first time thinking it would be an easy job for it. The very first berry bent one of the blades and the slicer is now unusable. The berries were not frozen. I would give this product a zero star rating if I was allowed to.Customer Review: good idea

This item was much smaller than I had expected (no, I did not look at dimensions till AFTER it got here, I made a foolish assumption based on the photo). It works just fine, it's just not large enough for what I wanted to do with it. Arrived quickly, in new condition.
